5 Couples Poses for Every Location

Hands-On

Beginner, Intermediate

Class Description:

If your couples posing starts and ends with “look here and now kiss,” this class is your reset. Jen will teach you 5 poses in 5 minutes that work for every couple—fast, flattering, and full of lifestyle vibes, but posed and predictable. Less awkward direction. More connected images that look effortless on purpose.

Jen teaches this the way photographers actually need it taught: clear, direct, and instantly usable. She breaks down exactly what to say, what to fix, and how to get couples looking connected without overthinking the process.

By the end of this class, attendees will be able to:

Master a fast 5-pose approach for couples sessions

Direct couples with clear, confident prompts

Spot strong light and clean backgrounds fast

Capture natural, polished, connected portraits

What to Bring to Class:

Attendees should be comfortable changing settings quickly without step-by-step camera instruction. This class is best suited for photographers who already understand basic exposure, focus, and lens choice.

Please bring:

Preferred portrait lens (35mm, 50mm, 85mm, or 70-200mm all work well)
Comfortable shoes for moving between shooting positions

This is a posing class and we will NOT be focusing on lighting techniques and will be photographing in open even light.

Attendees should come ready to shoot, direct, and participate actively in a live couples portrait environment.
