The Original Outdoor Boudoir

Hands-On

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Class Description:

How to create emotive, editorial-style boudoir imagery outdoors through using the light we find.

I began photographing outdoor boudoir in 2015 when I lost access to my studio.

I had to learn how to photograph women outdoors using natural light, environment, movement, and atmosphere, and from that experience, Outdoor Boudoir was born.

I branded my outdoor sessions and called my Boudoir Sessions “Into The Wild”.

Jasmin Jade shares the approach that helped shape her signature style and how outdoor spaces can become powerful storytelling tools for boudoir photography.

This class focuses on creating outdoor boudoir imagery that feels cinematic, intentional, and elevated beyond simply placing a subject outside.

Students will learn how to use light, movement, posing, and environment together to create editorial-style images with atmosphere and emotion.

Students will learn how to:

• Find and use natural light intentionally outdoors

• Create intimacy and emotion in open environments

• Direct women naturally through movement and connection

• Use environment and composition as part of the story

• Create cinematic mood using light, shadows, and atmosphere

• Pose women naturally outdoors without stiffness

• Build variety and storytelling within one outdoor location

What to Bring to Class:

Designed for photographers who already understand the basics of shooting in manual mode and want to expand their creativity and confidence when photographing women outdoors.

Primary Topics: Boudoir, Lighting – Natural
