How do I pick my classes?
You will be able to register for classes IN THE SHUTTERFEST APP two weeks before the event (first come, first serve). The app is released about a month before ShutterFest. READ THE FAQ and/or monitor the private Facebook group for more details.

Off-Camera Flash: Natural-Looking Light To Dramatic Portraits With Just One Light

Off-Camera flash doesn’t have to be complex. Once you understand the basics, it comes down to how to creatively implement these techniques to create the look and feel you want. The difference between natural-looking, well lit portraits and a dark and moody look is smaller than you think. Same tools. Same techniques. Different application.
In this class, we will show you how to do both quickly and easily. I will be using a 200 watt light with an octabox. I encourage you to bring a light and modifier so you can participate in this hands-on class.
